Tobby, the orange tabby cat

A classic ginger cat, right on your floor

Tobby has the soft ginger coat, round face and big curious eyes of the orange tabbies people fall for in real life. In mixed reality he is life-sized, so when he trots across your living room he is about as big as a real house cat would be. Soft shadows under his paws keep him sitting on your floor rather than floating above it, and he will hop up onto the sofa or bed if your room scan includes them.

What Tobby is like to live with

Like every pet in MyVrPet, Tobby rolls his own hidden personality when you first meet: three things he loves, two he would rather avoid and two temperament traits such as Playful, Cuddly, Curious or Lazy. One Tobby might pounce on every critter in Pounce Patrol, another might prefer to nap in a sunny corner and ask you for a chin scratch. Figuring out your Tobby is half the fun, and the game tells you when you discover something new.

Things to try together

• Find his favourite spot. Every cat has a place they love being stroked. Gently try his chin, head, back and tail and watch how he reacts.
• Feed him from your hand. Hold out a treat and he will come over and eat it right from your fingers.
• Play fetch. Throw the ball across the room for real and he brings it back to you.
• Let him nap. When his energy runs low he curls up for a snooze. Petting gently wakes him.

Free, and a great first pet

Tobby comes with the game, so you can start bonding right away. As you play you earn Sparkles to adopt more pets, and you can switch back to Tobby whenever you like. His Bond Journey, likes and memories are kept separately from your other pets, so nothing you build together is lost.
